The Cold Water Series

Is very much a spontaneous series that started in my life drawing class while working with acrylic paint on canvas board, being given these materials id call these experimental pieces, its just what came naturally. Created at a time of year that the sea swims start to bite and leave you with a rush of energy when you emerge from the weaves. Also created at a time I felt a feeling of empty nothingness lifting, leaving me feeling ready to rise towards new horizons, letting myself be pulled upwards, the excepting and embracing of change and renewal.

Mirrored Feelings

Have you ever wanted to see something specific when u look in the mirror, to see an earth goddess looking back at you, or to see in your own reflection what it feels like to be overwhelmed with the feeling of walking on air.

Exploring an idea of functional art, I created these pieces from original sketches brought to life on mirrored glass to reflect the beautiful hues of the surrounding world.

Using a Dremel to etch into the glass and a chalk pen as a guide.
